Parking
Parking around the venue is very limited and is on-street only; so we encourage all attendees, where possible, to use public transport.
The nearest blue badge parking is located on Beech Grove Terrace. The what3words code is: ///reap.lance.privately
Please note – additional Blue Badge parking is available on Campus – around 500 metres away, within the Leeds University Multi-storey car park should the spaces by the Union be unavailable. Additional spaces are also provided off-Campus at the Woodhouse Lane Multi-storey.
Parking is available to the public in the Orange Zone on weekday evenings (5pm – 7am) and all day on weekends, bank holidays and dates when the University is closed. Please do not pay on arrival. Payment for parking should be made before exit at any of the cashless pay machines.
Automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) is in operation in this car park. Payment for parking is required as per the tariff displayed within the car parks. These tariffs also apply to Blue Badge holders.
Other Transport
Walking: The University campus is approximately one mile from Leeds city station. Download the University walking and cycling map of the surrounding area.
By train: Leeds station connects us with all major UK cities and has a fast and efficient London service. For train information and timetables visit the National Rail website.
By bus: Many bus routes in West Yorkshire offer low floor, easy access buses. With more and more bus stops featuring raised kerbing too, it’s never been easier to travel. Visit the West Yorkshire Metro website and First Leeds for timetables and general information.
AccessBus is a door-to-door transport service, operating locally throughout West Yorkshire seven days a week between 09:00 and 17:00. It is of benefit to people who encounter difficulties using standard bus services, as the driver assists passengers from door-to-door, including boarding and alighting where required. By Taxi: The taxi drop off location is on Cavendish Road. The what3words code is: ///meals.rift.varieties. This is approximately 250m from the venue entrance.
Alternatively, drop off is available on Cromer Terrace. The what3words code is: ///flows.movie.jumpy. This is approximately 150m from the venue entrance.
The age restriction for this event is 14+. No refunds will be issued for under 14’s.
The Union building is accessible with lift access across all floors of the venue and there are accessible gender-neutral WC’s available throughout.
The Union building is set out on six levels but there is either ramped or lift access to every level with the distance from the main entrance to the furthest part of the venues approximately 200 metres.
Booking Access Facilities: There is a limited number of access passes available for this event. This is to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all customers. One you have purchased your event ticket, please email the venue access team access@leedsunionevents.com to arrange booking any access facilities you require.
Accessible Ticketing: Accessible customers are entitled to one free companion ticket with their purchased ticket. For this event this is limited to 35 customers and will be issued on a first come first served basis. Please email access@leedsunionevents.com to arrange.
Accessible Viewing Platforms: All of the stages will have a designated accessible viewing area. Access platforms will be available on the day on a first come, first served basis.
Wheelchairs: There is dedicated space for 3 wheelchairs at each of the stages. Please note that there is limited space in these area, and are reserved on a first come, first serve basis. Once dedicated wheelchair spaces are booked, we still welcome other wheelchair users if they are happy to attend without a booked space. Please email access@leedsunionevents.com to arrange.
Priority Entry: There will be a separate queue for those with accessible requirements which will allow you to jump the queue.
Seated Spaces: There will be limited seated spaces at each stage. These are booked on a first come, first-serve basis so sometimes they are not always available. Please email the venue in good time if you require a seated space and they will assist where possible: access@leedsunionevents.com.
Please note that any companions will not be eligible for a seated space, but they are welcome to stand beside you.
Toilets: There is an access toilet on almost every floor of the building. All of the toilets are accessible by lifts, which means whichever stage you’re at, you’re never far from your nearest accessible toilet.
Accessible Bar Facilities: There are drop-down bars at all of the stages.
We welcome attendees who need to bring medicines, food/drink, or medical equipment to manage medical conditions. Please contact the venue access team in advance if this applies to you: access@leedsunionevents.com.
Assistance Dogs: We are proactive on the use of assistance dogs and can provide water and other facilities should you require them. Please email access@leedsunionevents.com if you require this provision.
Strobe Lighting: The venues do include strobe lighting and other ‘flash-based’ effects as standard. In addition, as many of our events include aspects of ‘toured production’ – which are outside of the venue’s control, we urge you to contact us for more information on an event-specific basis at the earliest opportunity.
Sensory Bags: We recognize that certain environments can be challenging for individuals with sensory sensitivities. That’s why we’ve created Sensory Bags—thoughtfully designed to provide comfort, support, and essential tools to enhance your experience at Stylus. Each bag contains a carefully curated selection of versatile materials aimed at promoting relaxation, engagement, and sensory ease, ensuring you can fully enjoy your time with us. Please head to the box office to collect a sensory bag if you require one on the day. The venue asks for a form of ID to be left in exchange for the kits. Please note the venue cannot guarantee the availability of individual items and these are issued on a first come first served basis. The supplies are only available on event days. If you there is something specific you need, please ask a member of the security team who will be able to assist.
Quiet Space: There is access to a quiet space should you need it, that will be available throughout the duration of the event. Please ask a member of the security team on the day for should your require use of this area or would like more information.
Changing Facilities: The venues’ accessible toilets are equipped with baby changing facilities. We have a dedicated changing place which is fully equipped with an accessible toilet, hoist, shower, bed and baby changing facilities.
There will be a bar located in each stage serving alcoholic and soft drinks. Additionally, the following places within the Unversity Union will be open during the event (opening times vary by location):
Please note that ‘Check 25’ policy will be in operation at all bars.
All attendees will be wristbanded on entry. Any tampered or removed wristbands will no longer be valid.
The venue will operate a random search policy on entry – please comply with security staff if you are chosen for search.
Only bags smaller than A4 will be permitted into the venue for this event. All bags will be searched on entry.
The venue will operate ID checks upon entry into the event. Over 18’s will be issued with a wristband once ID is checked for the purchase and consumption of alcohol.

Re-entry will be permitted to any attendees who choose to leave the venue during the day. Please note that anyone who chooses to leave and return will be need to queue again and also be subject to search / security checks again on re-entry.
